Dental Insurance

Facts about your Dental Insurance

We do not diagnose your dental needs based on what your insurance will pay, rather our dentist diagnoses the condition of your mouth and will offer you a treatment plan that will best suit your needs.

Dental benefits do not always cover 100% of your dental work. You are however ultimately responsible for paying the dentist for treatment provided, regardless of what your dental benefits company pays.

Some dental benefits are changing rapidly, with many reductions in your coverage. Your dental benefits company does not always inform our dental office of all the changes that occur in your policy. Even with two dental plans in effect for one family, there may be times that you receive an invoice for treatment rendered to cover these changes.

We will be pleased to complete a predetermination for all treatments  to send to your insurance company for confirmation of your coverage. This will enable you to plan your finances before starting treatment, and we will always be happy to discuss fees and the payment options in this brochure with you.

Payment is expected at the time the services are rendered. The only exception is when a patient wants to pay in full at the end of several individual or family appointments with prior approval. We accept cash, Interac debit and all major credit cards. Thank you for your cooperation.
